Why photo quality changes your valuation
An AI valuation is only as good as what it can see. Condition is one of the biggest drivers of a card's price, corners, edges, surface, and centering can each swing value significantly, so clear, well-lit photos matter more than any other single thing you control before submitting.
What to photograph
Front and back, straight on, in even lighting with no glare. Skip the top-loader or sleeve if you can, plastic glare hides exactly the details that determine grade and price. For a full collection, photograph each card individually rather than a stack; a group shot can't show individual condition and will pull your valuation toward a conservative average.
What details actually move the number
Beyond the photos, four things drive the valuation: condition (centering, corners, edges, surface), grading status (raw vs. PSA/BGS/SGC graded, and the grade if graded), rarity (print run, parallel, serial numbering, rookie status), and recent comparable sales for that exact card and condition. Include grading slab details if you have them; a graded card usually gets a tighter, more confident price than a raw estimate.
Submitting a single card vs. a full collection
A single card takes a couple of minutes: photos, basic details, submit, and you get a price. A full collection works the same way at scale, submit each card the same way, and you'll get individual pricing across the whole collection rather than one blended lump-sum guess. After you see your valuation

If it looks off, double-check that photos are clear and grading details are entered correctly, since those are the two things most likely to shift a number.
